For boarders SMIS offers a unique Krishna Conscious facility and a very well planned program to systematically infuse among the students, the philosophy and practice of Krishna Consciousness in a disciplined atmosphere. A large and serene tract of land near the goshala serves as the boarding facility for students. Called ‘Srila Prabhupada Ashram’ and headed by a very experienced devotee, Srila Prabhupada disciple HG Rama Vigrahah dasa, this facility is ideal to bring out the best in devotee children. Although situated in a large campus with a playground, kitchen and other amenities, currently the ashram has a capacity to admit only 40 students on a first come first serve basis. In future we plan to expand this capacity.
