Student Sponsorship Programme
 
The Student Sponsorship Programme of SMIS is underpinned by the belief that every child has a right to a spiritual and material education that develops their God given personality, strengths and abilities to the full.  To facilitate such a vision, SMIS wishes to seek financial sponsorship from our local and wider global members of the community who would like to contribute to the education of a child who could not otherwise afford to attend our school.  Financial assistance to students of our economically constrained families greatly benefit their lives and future and gives them the best chance to bring about a positive change in their own lives, their families and their communities.
 
Sponsors have the option to choose a student from our list of children requiring sponsorship or can leave it up to Management to choose the appropriate child they feel would best suit the specific sponsor.  Sponsors may also elect whether they would like to keep in contact with their sponsored child, would like to receive updates and reports of their sponsored child or receive samplers of their work throughout the year.  Most of the students requiring sponsorship are from our local environs but there is a small number from certain poorer countries outside of India who also require assistance.   If you would like information on any of them in order to choose your sponsored child, please email SMIS at the email  addresses below, and from there you may choose.
 
The cost per student is Rs 40,000/- per annum (approx. USD $850), this being enrolment, tuition and stationery fees ensued, and this amount is to be paid at the beginning of the school year (August) or another time if arrangements have been made with the School.   Payment can be made personally, delivery through another person coming to Mayapur or via a Western Union wire transfer.

There is a School Sponsorship Programme Form that can be filled in online, but before filling it in, please make some initial communication with us via the above contact mediums.  We would love to hear from you first and introduce ourselves to you personally.
